Tara Reid started with commercials as a child and finally turned heads when she appeared on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. The acting of her has been scrutinized, but she's still managed to play the parts she played with ease. Her breakthrough was when she starred as Bunny, in The Big Lebowski. This film proved to be an important stepping stone for her career. She began getting offers for films like Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. But it is American Pie the cult movie about teenagers and sexual encounters which established Reid as a promising face for Hollywood in her part as the virgin Vicky. However, none of these was enough to lead to a highly profitable Hollywood career. Reid had a few blunders in films like Josie and the Pussycats. She was not able to make a comeback despite her small role in American Pie 2. Reid is more famous for her work as a fashion stylist as well as a party-goer as an actress than she does for her acting. It is due to her on-screen mistakes, publicized plastic surgeries and many other appearances that were blink-and-miss.
