Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She is currently employed by ESPN as a reporter for SportsCenter as well as occasionally hosting SportsNation. She joined ESPN as a news anchor in the year 2016. Her mother is TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual since her age of nine. The ability that helped her get her first role as a Univision production assistant in Miami. In Miami, she was a producer for National shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. It was the CBS subsidiary of St. Petersburg hired her following this to become the sports reporter. Her move from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to become a reporter at the Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. Covering stories related to drugs and immigration issues across the border of Mexico and Texas. Border, she worked as an anchor on the Spanish channel KNVO TV48 at 5 pm, a news reporter with a news anchor in English for 9 pm, after which she became a news anchor until 10pm, before returning back to KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel. She was also frequently called upon to be a sports or weather anchor. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallasstation, which is where she has more responsibility. She wrote pieces on Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS and World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. She also hosted on the regional Univision 23 sports show Accion Deportiva Extra. Then, she became the sports host for the morning show of Despierta America Deportes. As a sports anchor she also worked for Primer Impacto (a network magazine) as well as Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports channel). Antonietta Collin's parents originally hail from Veracruz Mexico. The girl was born on November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1984 in Mexico City. Her older sister is also hers. In 1992 the family left Mexico for the US and settled in Miami. In 1992, her parents divorced soon after. In 1995, she was remarried Fabio Fajardo, an engineer in the naval sector who passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. When on vacation Antonietta spent the time at the house of her sister Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sibling had recently gotten an offer to work. Still a senior in high school and yet with a clear idea about what she wanted to pursue with her life Antonietta visited the University of Mount Union to assess if it suited her requirements. It turned out that she was a fan of the university and that they had the major she was looking for. Her studies were completed and she was accepted to the University for a master's degree studying media and communication studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was a student in the class, established an ongoing friendship with the student. The professor encouraged her to have self-confidence and was greatly moved by his enthusiasm for journalism.
